Our services:
1.- Growth factors
With Growth Factors we manage to reduce pain and inflammation of the joints, promoting regeneration of the tissue where they are applied. It promotes the repair of chronic joint, ligament and tendon injuries using platelets and growth factors from your own skin, being an alternative to Orthopedic Surgery.
Lesions treated with growth factors
- Osteoarthritis (Knee, Shoulder, Ankle, Hip, Hand: Rizartrosi, Foot: Hallux Rigidus)
- Tendon Injuries (Epicondylitis and Epitrochleitis, Achilles, Trochanteritis, Shoulder Rotator Cuff, Runner's Tendinitis, Plantar Fasciitis)
- Meniscal knee injuries
- Fibrillary or muscle tears
Growth Factors Procedure
The procedure has 3 phases:
- Peripheral blood collection
- The sample is centrifuged and the part of the plasma that is richest in platelets and growth factors is selected.
- It is injected into the injury area
Since the treatment is carried out with the patient's own blood, it carries a low risk
2.- Prolotherapy
Prolotherapy promotes the recovery and regeneration of the connective tissue of ligaments and tendons damaged by the passage of time or an injury.
Lesions treated with Prolotherapy
- Chronic joint pain
- ligamentous injuries
- Partial injuries to the anterior cruciate ligament and others in the knee
- Ankle sprain
- Wrist instability
- Osteoarthritis
- Chronic degenerative low back pain
Prolotherapy Procedure
Prolotherapy consists of treating damaged and lax tissues through injections of hypertonic Dextrose. Dextrose causes an initial localized inflammation that sets in motion the process of rethinking the ligaments.
Treatment is contraindicated in patients allergic to corn.
3.- Osteopathic Manual Medicine
It is a medical treatment that treats functional injuries of the musculoskeletal system in general and the spine in particular, using manual and non-invasive techniques. Its practice is based on achieving a very precise diagnosis of the problem through a thorough examination of the patient (inspection, palpation, mobilization...) in order to apply a therapeutic arsenal that includes not only joint manipulations but also re-educating treatments and, if necessary, drugs.
4.- Ozone therapy
Ozone therapy is a medical treatment that uses ozone as a therapeutic agent. It has few contraindications and minimal side effects and should be applied by a doctor specialized in this type of treatment.
Pathologies treated with Ozone Therapy
- Osteoarthritis
- Disc herniation and disc-radicular conflicts
- Carpal tunnel syndrome
- Enthesitis, Bursiteis and Tendinipathies
How does it act?
The fundamental benefits of Ozone are the anti-inflammatory, immunoregulatory effect and the absence of side effects when compared to other types of infiltrations.
Its action against pain is mainly as an anti-inflammatory. Reduces inflammation and, therefore, pain.
